Heavy metals in ayurvedic medicine

In India apart from modern medicine there is another form of medicine which is prevalent. It is ayurvedic medicine. It is advertised as safe medicine/no side effect medicine.  Many government and private college offers this medicine system for graduation. There is a government body as well which "regulates" these ayurvedic medicines. it is AYUSH. Advertising it like this has made people to use it as home remedy. People in India are using such medicines without knowledge. But are they really safe. Even if we take a cinnamon tea/decoction in excess it causes acid reflux. Even simple food items like peanuts or sweets or ragi have side effects if consumed unmindfully or in excess. It may not be seen quickly. Then how come the ayurvedic medicines are completely safe, where no clinical trials have been done.  Now the major fact about ayurvedic medicines are they contain heavy metals which are very very hazardous for your body .  Heavy metals like lead, mercury, arsenic, c...

Reservation is a medicine's beware of it's sideeffect

Image
For the last 70 to 80 years the reservation system is going on in India. It has been started by Mr BR Ambedkar that was for scheduled caste and schedule tribe people to uplift them in society . That was the time when scheduled caste and schedule tribe people were really suffering without facilities. But now the situation has changed. After 70 to 80 years these people has got many facilities many reservations because of that in their families 2 ,3 people are on government officers post  and are having everything like lavish houses, maids, servants ,a big property at prime city location , good schools for their children. From no where now these people need any help for upliftment they have all the basic facilities that are necessary to progress in life. Around 50 percent seats are reserved for particular class . And if the student scores very well like 90 percent or 95 percent they get seat in general category . Like wise for general students less than 40 percent seats are...

No structured work in a structured organisation

Image
In a structured organisation these days there is no structured work. If a person is employed for an organisation or a company he /she is asked to do any thing which is not related to their work profile. Working as a teacher we used to get the work of clerks like collect the fees, fill up their forms for some exam, do the decoration for the annual function or some other function , prepare children for dance and annual function. Maths teacher , Science teacher, English teacher everybody is doing the same work why do you need fancy degrees in the subject then?   On which skill basis teachers are selected and for what? A  teacher is asked to do everything apart from studies during school hours and after school hours, and then whatever time is left at home that time has to be used for the studies related work like note book correction , paper correction , list making. Teachers cannot ask for extra remuneration for this extra work as they say it is part of your job. All o...

Why teachers are paid less than house maids

Image
Most of us must be having house maids at home. Have you ever imagined how much they get paid every month collectively not less than 15 thousand , some may get paid more than 25 thousand also. It's a good thing. This helps people to get their lifes stable. Now imagine how much a teacher is getting paid on an average . It is around 10 thousand Rupees.  Some teacher are working at 5 thousand per month .  I had to straight away compare these two situations because this is what is going on. My friend had been to an interview for the post of lecturer in Polytechnic college in Nagpur , Maharashtra. The owner of the college came by Mercedes and he interviewed me all he was bothered was how much salary she would want?. As she  said 18 thousand he said in sarcastic way "18 thousand chahiye kya? Bahar baitho." Then he interviewed one more girl  she had her family in another town. They were offering her 12 thousand per month. She said how am I going to manage Rent itself w...

Financial independance of a woman.

These days everybody on the internet is talking about financial independence. How soon can we quit the job, what corpus do we need to be financially independent and so and so. But this financial independence is for a man not a woman. Men considering they have to fulfill their family needs should have 'x' amount of money. But what if a man is getting rich and his wife and children are still poor their financial needs are not being fulfilled? No body on the internet is talking about financial independence or security of women.     Men has to do around 30 years of job or may be 20 years of job day in and day out to be financially independent. Is it possible for a woman who is in marriage, having family responsibilities and having non supportive in-laws and husband to achieve financial independence?
