Why teachers are paid less than house maids

 Most of us must be having house maids at home. Have you ever imagined how much they get paid every month collectively not less than 15 thousand , some may get paid more than 25 thousand also. It's a good thing. This helps people to get their lifes stable. Now imagine how much a teacher is getting paid on an average . It is around 10 thousand Rupees.  Some teacher are working at 5 thousand per month . 

I had to straight away compare these two situations because this is what is going on. My friend had been to an interview for the post of lecturer in Polytechnic college in Nagpur , Maharashtra. The owner of the college came by Mercedes and he interviewed me all he was bothered was how much salary she would want?. As she  said 18 thousand he said in sarcastic way "18 thousand chahiye kya? Bahar baitho." Then he interviewed one more girl  she had her family in another town. They were offering her 12 thousand per month. She said how am I going to manage Rent itself will cost her around 6-7 thousand. 

Maids don't have to study so many years . Invest their time ,their money. When they work they work there only they don't take work to their home. They keep getting goodies. No body can speak to them in abusive language or they leave the work.

Where as when teachers have to get a job they have to get a whole big array of degrees Bachelors, Master's, projects, B. Ed. M. Phil, Ph. D and clear exams like C.Tet, Set, Net and what not. So many years they have to invest, they cannot enjoy life with their friends and family, they have work hard be awake at nights studying. So much money is spent for so many years. Then when they finally get the job they are paid how much 12 thousand it not even the interest of money spent all these years for education. It's better to keep money in bank instead of getting degrees . When these teachers work it is physically so challenging. They have to some times shout, be standing all the time , keep track if every body has done their work or not, they have carry bundles of work to home be it paper correction or result preparation or notebook correction. In annual function and sports day the physical effort is at next level. After doing all this there no respect for teachers. Even childern now a days use slangs for teachers and they have to get a scoldings from their seniors as well.

Teaching profession has no longer remained a noble profession.
